Play your part in our 2016 Winter Production of Hansel & Gretel by supporting our mentorship scheme.
One of the key themes that stands out in the story of Hansel & Gretel is the bond between brother and sister. Gretel looks after her little brother Hansel, and he looks up to her as a role model.
Reflecting this supportive relationship, our Hansel & Gretel mentoring scheme has been devised to nurture connections between established performers and the next generation of young dancers.
Your donation will help support our dancers as they develop as role models, giving them the space and confidence to mentor young, aspiring performers from our Associates scheme (a career track training programme for talented children), along with young people who have been selected from across Scotland, that may have little dance experience or never performed in a theatre before.
along with young people who have been selected from across Scotland, that may have little dance experience or never performed in a theatre before.
As they prepare for their first experience of professional performing, our cast of young people will gain a special insight into the ballet world and make meaningful friendships with our dancers.
A once in a lifetime opportunity, and a seed of potential for the future.
Our dancers are ready for the challenge.
The children are ready for the opportunity.
With your help, we can inspire and support the next generation, whilst giving our highly skilled dancers a long and satisfying career.
Help our dancers to:
Inspire the dancers of tomorrow
Feed their imagination
Ignite their passion
