Saturday 12 November 2016 saw Scottish Ballet’s Tramway headquarters transformed into New York City for one night only, fundraising for the Company’s journey to New York in Spring 2017 when they will perform in the city for the very first time.

Hosted by the legendary Fred MacAulay, the Gala saw incredible performances from Scottish Ballet’s dancers, including two brand new commissions; a pop-up performance to The Way You Look Tonight and a sensational swing routine, Highland Swing. With a raffle, Silent and Live Auctions, and an appeal for support for Scottish Ballet’s Parkinson’s for Dance Scotland programme, we are delighted to announce that the Gala raised over £62,000!

Next year's Gala will be held at Crossbasket Castle near Bothwell on Saturday 11 November 2017. Please contact Yvonne Halliday to register your interest for what will no doubt be the highlight of the arts calendar!
