Sponsoring a dancer at Scottish Ballet is an opportunity to build a highly personal connection with Scotland’s National Dance company through the eyes of our dancers. Sponsors have the chance to witness the passion, dedication and joy that comes from a career as an elite artist, while contributing to Scottish Ballet so that the dancers remain ‘performance ready’.
Artemis have been proud sponsors of Scottish Ballet dancers for 15 years. For nearly a decade, Artemis Investment Management have sponsored Scottish Ballet’s Principal dancer Christopher Harrison, as he led the company in some of its most iconic productions from Rite of Spring to Swan Lake. Artemis have played a key part in Chris’ Scottish Ballet story, supporting him since his promotion to Principal dancer in 2013, and now as he retires from his incredible dancing career.
Over the years, Artemis have been able to proudly say ‘we were there’ to see Chris’ outstanding performances in the UK and hear of his triumphs as he toured across the world. Artemis’ employees and their families have also enjoyed meeting with Chris after his performances – an exclusive opportunity to hear more about life as a dancer and be inspired by the power of dance beyond the stage.
Chris has been the embodiment of Artemis’ key values of collaboration, expertise and talent and has set an exceptional example to younger members of the Scottish Ballet company through his artistry, professionalism and unwavering commitment to dance; all of which will be his legacy.
