When did you start dancing?
I started dancing when I was 4 years old.

Do you remember a moment when you decided or realised that you wanted to be a professional dancer?
I am from Bordeaux and my parents always took me to watch ballet. One Christmas I got the chance to perform as a child and a rat in The Nutcracker with the Opera National of Bordeaux. Since this moment, I've always wanted to be a professional dancer.

Describe something about your dancing that has changed since joining Scottish Ballet. What caused this change?
I would say I'm more versatile since joining Scottish Ballet thanks to the range of different repertoire we do.

What’s your pre-show ritual?
My pre show ritual can changes each production. It will depend on the make up, the hair, and the costumes for that particular show. But when I start to perform a role, I need to do exactly the same every show.

Are there any dancers or artists that inspire you?
Scottish Ballet Principal Sophie Martin inspires me a lot. I love watching her dance and she also gives me amazing tips.

What are a few words that would describe your personality in the studio?
I would say I'm always happy and I work hard. So two words would be 'joyful' and 'hard-working'. I love my job and I love to dance. Let's enjoy every minute of our life!

What has been a highlight of your time with Scottish Ballet?
My time with Scottish Ballet has been amazing. Since I joined, I've had a highlight every year. I loved performing Mary in Hellen Pickett's Crucible, performing David Dawson's Swan Lake was an incredible challenge which I'll never forget. Dancing Crystal Pite's Emergence with my beautiful colleagues of Scottish Ballet was also amazing. I had the privilege to perform Snow Queen in Peter Darrell's The Nutcracker and this was a highlight of my career so far.

What’s your favourite thing about Scotland?
My favourite thing about Scotland is that you can find amazing landscape, nature and peace
