One of my first teachers said to me that the real meaning of what we dance is outside of the studio, it is out in the world that we find the real sense of our movements.

How would your colleagues describe you?
I’d say I’m an energetic and intense person.

What career moment are you most proud of?
Joining Scottish Ballet and starting my professional career with Coppélia.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
One of my first teachers said to me that the real meaning of what we dance is outside of the studio, it is out in the world that we find the real sense of our movements.

What’s your favourite ballet to watch?
Hurricane by Yoann Bourgeois. It’s a contemporary piece. I really enjoy watching this piece since the choreographer is expressing how humankind naturally tries to find a sense of stability in an ever-changing world.

What’s your dream role to perform?
I would love to perform Playlist (Track2) by William Forsythe.

What do you like to do on your days off?
I really enjoying writing and taking pictures.

What does ‘home’ mean to you?
“Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave but not our hearts” by Oliver Wendell Holmes, I think it’s the best way for me to define the concept of home.

What’s your hype song?
Modern Love by David Bowie and Valerie by Amy Winehouse.

What’s your favourite book?
My favourite book is The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. It is remarkable how he is able to describe how the concept of beauty can drive someone to be considered in this society or not.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
To never been injured. I think it’d be an amazing superpower for a dancer.

Repertoire Highlights: Coppélia, The Snow Queen, A Streetcar Named Desire
