To celebrate the opening of Scottish Ballet’s production of Alice, based on the stories of Lewis Carroll, Scottish Ballet delivered an exciting performance project combining dance and parkour.

Hatter's Garden saw nationally recognised choreographers and leading parkour coaches working with young people to create an exciting and imaginative physical performance event in the Hidden Gardens in April 2011.

Scottish Ballet invited 50 young people to develop their dance and parkour skills through creative and skill building sessions with leading parkour coach Chris Grant, nationally recognised choreographer Marc Brew and Scottish Ballet’s education team to create an exciting and imaginative performance piece.
