Scottish Ballet offers a range of workshops for schools alongside each of its tours. These can be for any age group and can be tailored to suit the needs of the class.

Practical workshops consist of a dance session linked to the current production, taught by one of our Education Officers and accompanied by a musician. These workshops explore the themes of our productions, and offer a chance for participants to learn some of the moves from the ballet as well as create some of their own.

For secondary schools, talks can also be delivered to Drama, Art and English classes, giving the students an insight into the creative process behind turning some of the world’s most beloved stories into a ballet production.

If members of our staff are available these can be FREE.
