We've teamed up with Tramway to play host to over 200 delegates attending, performing, and speaking at the People Dancing International Conference.

This conference is unlike any other in the world. This year, the programme is focused on three areas:

  • Cultural identity and sense of place
  • Older people dancing
  • Dance for people living with Parkinson’s

We are an outward looking country and our artists, performers and dancers are Scotland’s greatest ambassadors. As a Government, we are proud of what Scotland achieves culturally and we are committed to tackling inequalities to make Scotland a stronger, fairer, more inclusive society.

Minister for International Development and Europe Alasdair Allan, who opened the conference.

From Scottish Ballet’s ranks, presentations will be given by:

Miriam Early, Education Officer
Lorna Murray, Education Manager
