The film was chosen out of hundreds of submissions and we are honoured to be presented among many other talented filmmakers and producers from across the globe.

A reflection on the connection between our younger and older selves.

Haud Close Tae Me is a short dance film directed by Scottish Ballet’s film-maker Eve McConnachie and choreographed by CEO/Artistic Director Christopher Hampson, featuring a specially commissioned poem by Scotland’s Makar Jackie Kay. The poem is narrated by Kay herself with music by Alex Menzies.

It was created as part of Scottish Ballet's Digital Season 2017, Under The Skin.
