We're delighted to announce that Scottish Ballet has been nominated for four Critic's Circle National Dance Awards! 

Helen Pickett’s The Crucible is the most successful production across all categories with three nominations, alongside Arthur Pita’s The Mother, also with three.

The National Dance Awards recognise across all genres of dance, celebrating the thriving dance culture in the UK. 

We're nominated for the following four awards: 

  • Stef Stefanou Award for Outstanding Company
  • Best Classical Choreography – Helen Pickett for The Crucible 
  • Outstanding Male Classical Performance – Nicholas Shoesmith as John Proctor in The Crucible 
  •  Outstanding Creative Contribution – Peter Salem, Composer for The Crucible

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 19 February 2020.
