Scottish Ballet's Chief Executive/Artistic Director Christopher Hampson will be speaking at the Immersive Filmmaking symposium at Glasgow Short Film Festival.

Increasing numbers of narrative filmmakers and moving image artists have begun to explore the potential of VR and 360° filmmaking, finding ways to structure narratives and create experiences that incorporate the unique sense of agency that VR affords the viewer/participant. The Immersive Filmmaking symposium will explore the challenges of virtual reality storytelling, interactivity and the psychology of immersion.

At this free event, you'll be able to hear Christopher speak about Virtual Reality & Dance following his the creation of The Perfect Place, Scottish Ballet's 360 degree narrative film in collaboration with BBC Scotland.
