Scottish Ballet is seeking an exceptional administrator to provide support across company management and touring operations.  Working within the People & Wellbeing team, you will assist the Company Manager and the Music & Orchestral Services Manager with the efficient management of people and their logistical requirements for performances and related activities; as well as assisting with planning and preparation for all touring activities.  This role is based in Glasgow, with the requirement to tour extensively throughout the UK.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019, Scottish Ballet continues to build an impressive reputation on a strong commissioning and ambitious touring programme. The Company tours annually to premier theatres across Scotland and the UK, including Sadler’s Wells, and internationally throughout Asia and North America. Invitations to feature at the Edinburgh International Festival, and other major festivals, such as Spoleto, are included in the Company’s exciting stage opportunities.

If you are highly organised, can work independently as well as part of a team, and would value a challenging role within a national arts company, then we would be delighted to receive your application, which should include:

  • A letter outlining your interest in being considered for the position – why you believe your skills and knowledge and experience are relevant to the role (as defined in the ‘Key Accountabilities’) and how you will add value to Scottish Ballet;
  • A copy of your curriculum vitae;
  • The names and contact details of at least two professional referees (these will only be contacted should you be offered the position);

Deadline for applications: 12pm (GMT) Friday 7 June 2019

Please send application and covering letter to Maeve Houston maeve.houston@scottishballet.co.uk or call 0141 331 2931 for further information.
