With a global reputation for excellence and a mission to inspire on stage and beyond, Scottish Ballet is one of the country’s pre-eminent arts organisations.
Following the very successful tenure of Norman Murray, the company is seeking to appoint a new Non-Executive Chair to help lead it in the next stage of its ambitious development.
Candidates will have strong and relevant board experience, whether in the arts, private or public sectors, and must share the vision, values and ethos of Scottish Ballet.
This is an exciting and demanding challenge requiring an individual of high calibre, energy and leadership skills. It is intended that they join the Board in June and become the Chair at the end of 2020.
The initial appointment will be for three years with the possibility of extending for a further three year period by mutual agreement. The post is not remunerated although expenses will be reimbursed.
