Edinburgh International Festival '06

Scottish Ballet returns to the prestigious Edinburgh International Festival after last year's award-winning Balanchine showcase.

For Sir Brian McMaster’s final year as Director of the Festival, we will perform George Balanchine’s Agon, Jerome Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun, Hans van Manen’s Two Pieces for HET and Krzysztof Pastor’s In Light and Shadow.

Nicholas Kok who worked with the Company on Scottish Ballet Dances Balanchine and more recently Ashley Page’s Cinderella, will conduct the Orchestra of Scottish Opera.
