Autumn 06 Tour of Scotland
This autumn, Scottish Ballet will be taking to the roads, traveling the length and breadth of the country, performing to audiences in eight venues, from Stranraer all the way up to Ullapool.
Featuring the gloriously colourful diverts from Page’s critically acclaimed version of The Nutcracker (“such stuff that dreams are made on. Five stars” The Daily Mail) and a selection of Page’s dynamic duets, this will showcase the versatility of the Company’s world-class dancers as they perform in a variety of different venues set against some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland.
Please note: the repertoire for Macrobert, Stirling is different to the other venues: Ashley Page's Walking in the Heat, Refurbished Behaviour, Acrid Avid Jam, Room of Cooks and The Pump Room and Hans van Manen's Two Pieces for HET.
The full repertoire for the other venues is: Ashley Page's Room of Cooks, Walking in the Heat, Refurbished Behaviour, Acrid Avid Jam and The Nutcracker - Diverts and the World Premiere of Diana Loosmore's Sirocco.
