With Scottish Ballet’s summer tour already upon us we wave goodbye to the dancers as they set off around Scotland. The tour lasts two weeks and stretches between Berwick-Upon-Tweed and the Shetland Isles. To achieve such a distance, the dancers split in two. Not literally, but into separate groups.
We thought it would be a great idea to try and capture some the places and faces that they encounter along the way. Teaming up with Casio, we have equipped two Scottish Ballet dancers; Sophie Laplane and Bethany Kingsley-Garner with the the world’s smallest and thinnest 10.1 Mega pixel camera, the Casio Exilim EX-S10.
Bethany's Diary:

The dancers take advantage of a sunny day and take some time to explore Kelso.
As the good weather continues they venture onto the beach a Berwick-upon-Tweed.

There is time for a little bit of en pointe practice before the show.
Amy warms her extremities while Jarrko poses for the camera.
Sophie's Diary:

The dancers prepare for a good ol' Scottish Dance, while Sophie Martin swaps the barre for a bench.

Luisa Rocco fits in with the beautiful view, while the Company enjoy a pleasant journey to Stornoway.

Luisa checks with Jo that her hair is okay, while the two Sophies prepare for a rescue.

Everybody knows, but here is the proof....Scottish Ballet rocks!

Stornoway was a success! ...next - Kirkwall in Orkney...
