Vassilissa Levtonova

.Theatreinscotland, December 2010 – The strongest act for me was the Fairy godmother (Vassilissa Levtonova), who was a spirited vision, and in my eyes, stole the show. The audience agrees with me and she receives the loudest of cheers.

.Press and Journal, 20 January 2011 – Vassilissa Levtonova’s marionette-like Godmother is another outstanding creation in a cast that is faultless.

.Evening Express, 20 January 2011 – The Fairy Godmother, played by Vassilissa Levtonova, stole the show. I was all goosebumps as she changed the set around her with her magic wand. And she seemed to glide across the stage all glitter and grace… The ballet ended with the loudest claps for the Fairy Godmother.

Balanchine’s Rubies

.The Herald, 09 October 2009Vassilissa Levtonova has a glint of the minx in her knock 'em dead shimmies.

.wwwwords.blogspot, October 2009 Vassilissa Levtonova was infectiously enjoying herself throughout.

SPRING 2009

Alston’s Carmen

.jenniemacfie.wordpress.com, 17th May 2009 - Vassilissa Levtonova was also very impressive as the Gypsy

.Big Issue, 15 January 2009 – Vassilissa Levtonova as the Lilac Fairy seems to grow in stature as the ballet progresses

.Sunday Telegraph, 29 April 2007 – Vassilissa Levtonova, a rangy redhead with a bold, beautiful jump and a stage presence that really bites back.

CINDERELLA 2006-2007

.Belfast News Letter, 08 Feb 2007 – My personal favourite was the Godmother, danced by the wonderfully named Vassilissa Levtonova. She commands the seasons in a wonderful segment in which flowers bloom, fruit ripens and frost forms before our eyes.
