Biography

Vassilissa was born in Moscow and trained at the ViennaStateOperaBalletSchool. She was awarded a scholarship to the Academy of Classical Dance in Monte Carlo where she studied from 2000-2001. She joined Scottish Ballet in July 2003 and has danced in Page’s The Nutcracker, Nightswimming into day, 32 CryptogramsCinderella (Godmother), Fearful Symmetries and The Sleeping Beauty (Belle), Petronio’s MiddleSexGorge, Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments, Agon and Episodes, Forsythe’s Artifact Suite, Ashton’s Façade, Robbins' Afternoon Of A Faun, Loosmore’s Chasing Ghosts,  Pastor's In Light And Shadow and Brown’s For M.G.: The Movie
