1) What is your favourite ballet/or role?
My favourite ballet is Don Quixote, especially the main Pas de Deux and Kitzi variation in the first act. I also like Romeo and Juliet a lot, the music is fantastic and so is everything about William Forsythe’s work. The dynamic of the movement, the energy is just fantastic.
2) What is your favourite meal/type of food?
Pasta, pizza - I love everything about Italian cuisine, but since I moved abroad I now really like milk and cereal a lot. At the moment I can’t live without it - I’ve got to have it at least once a day!
3) What made you take up dance as a career?
Actually I used to see my sister dancing and going to ballet school, she loved it so much that she made me want to try… maybe curiosity!
4) What is your greatest extravagance?
Well, I love shopping in general - jeans, t-shirts and bags, but I can say that I spend lots of money on earrings, when I want to treat myself, I usually buy that!
5) Who is your hero or heroes?
I don’t think I have any…
6) If you could be stuck in a lift with anyone, who would it be?
Definitely nobody that would be scared to death about it, otherwise I would probably panic too. But if I had to choose someone beautiful and famous then I would say Johnny Depp or Kevin Bacon. I don’t mind.
7) What has been your favourite venue to perform in?
I loved dancing in Forsythe’s piece Suite from Artifact, which was absolutely great, really challenging and interesting. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to perform it on stage because I got injured one week before it started! I hope I’ll get a chance to do it again one day.
8) What type of music do you like to unwind to?
I have Portishead, Zero 7 and Erika Badu; they are all good to chill you out. I also really like piano music, I find it really relaxing.
9) Who would you like to play you in the film of your life?
If I had to choose an actress to play me in my life I would go for Uma Thurman. I’m not really sure why, there is something about her that makes me think she would be good at being me.
10) Do you have any hobbies?
I like reading, listening to music and going swimming. I like to go out with my friends and I quite enjoy cooking as well.
