Scottish Ballet needs your help to ensure we continue to create magical productions and make dance accessible to as wide an audience as possible.
We have created the Artistic Fund and the Education Fund to support key areas of our work. From only £5 per month, you can help us maintain our artistic excellence and develop our education and outreach programmes by making a small monthly donation to either of these funds. You can direct your gift to an area which most interests you, such as covering the cost of a child to attend one of our educational workshops, contributing to the funding of our audio-visual description of a performance for visually impaired patrons, or buying our dancers their shoes and tights.
Although we receive significant funding from the Scottish Government and generate income through ticket sales, as a registered charity we also rely on your donations to maintain our extensive programmes of performance and education activity.
Every gift, no matter what size, is gratefully received and we particularly appreciate regular monthly donations, as the steady income allows us more easily to plan for future initiatives.
What do I do now?

Scottish Ballet's Artistic Fund
A great deal of behind-the-scenes hard work, preparation and expense goes into creating what appears to be the effortless magic seen on stage in one of our productions. Even a simple looking headdress can take a day to make and cost from £40!
We help our dancers maintain their rigid and demanding health and fitness regime; our Wardrobe department make and maintain costumes, headdresses, wigs and shoes for up to nine different ballets each year; our orchestra of some 70 musicians play in around 79 performances annually, and our technical and stage management team transport us into another world with beautiful scenery and props.
Please help us maintain our artistic excellence and our ambition to provide world-class dance performance to audiences, both nationally and internationally.

Scottish Ballet Education Fund
By supporting our Education Fund, you could introduce a schoolchild to the magic of dance through funding a place on one of our educational workshops at a cost of £25.
Alternatively, you could support the dancers of the future, through contributing towards our Ballet Buzz workshops, which identify and nurture previously undiscovered talent or contribute to our Associates Programme, a specialist, career-track training scheme, or our Apprentice Dancer’s Scheme, which offers young dancers their first stop on a professional career.
Please help us maintain and develop our innovative and successful education and outreach programmes and help support tomorrow’s dancers and audiences.
