A lasting legacy to Scotland’s national dance company
The Scottish Ballet Endowment is a separate charitable fund which was established to provide additional support for Scottish Ballet in perpetuity, this may include the artistic development of a new commission, extended touring, or a capital purchase. We need your help today to make a valuable contribution to the company of tomorrow.
The Endowment Fund enables supporters of Scottish Ballet to leave a lasting legacy to the company in their Will. Leaving a legacy will enable you to make a difference after your death without affecting your current financial circumstances. You can leave a legacy safe in the knowledge that commitments to your family and friends will have already been met. Your gift can be given in many ways, such as cash, property, shares or land, at a sum you feel you can afford; however much you feel you can leave, you can be assured that Scottish Ballet will be most grateful. Leaving a legacy is a gift that lasts beyond your lifetime and will help to ensure that Scottish Ballet, which has given you pleasure and enjoyment, will continue to inspire people across Scotland and beyond.
Leaving a legacy in your Will is a simple process and we have suggested wording below that you might like to use. However, we would advise that you speak to your Solicitor in the first instance.
Suggested wording for a simple legacy:
To Scottish Ballet’s Endowment Fund (Charity number SCO 40198), Scottish Ballet, Tramway, 25 Albert Drive, Glasgow, G41 2PE, the sum of (INSERT) OR (INSERT)% of the residue of my Estate.
Thank you for your support now and in the future.
