Princess Aurora is born into a magical world where mortals mix with the fairies of the enchanted forest. Cursed by a jealous fairy fallen from grace, Aurora falls into an enchanted hundred-year slumber from which she can only be woken by true love’s kiss. Read the full synopsis.

Liberally sprinkled with surprising twists and delicious wit, this spectacular version of the much loved story features Artistic Director Ashley Page’s choreography and international designer Antony McDonald’s lavish sets and costumes. Complete with Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score, performed live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra, The Sleeping Beauty will be bringing a little magic to the winter months – let Scottish Ballet cast a spell on you!
