Special screenings of classic Tennessee WIlliams' films

Throughout April, cinemas across the country will hosting special screenings of Tennessee Williams' works, along with an exclusive behind the scenes film from Scottish Ballet.

Glasgow Film Theatre and Edinburgh's Filmhouse will be screening the Oscar-winning 1951 film adaptation of A Streetcar Named Desire starring Marlon Brando and Vivienne Leigh. All screenings will be introduced by Scottish Ballet and preceded by a ten-minute behind the scenes film, and the screening at Filmhouse will also be preceded by a Q&A session with Scottish Ballet's education team.

Eden Court will be screening Williams' Oscar-winning The Night of the Iguana, the dramatic story of a disgraced clergyman starring Richard Burton and Ava Gardner, which will be preceded by Scottish Ballet's behind the scenes film. Click here for full details.
