Scottish Ballet supports The Big Dance Schools Pledge, who will be trying to break a world record on 18 May 2012, the same day that the Olympic Torch arrives in the UK, and all schools are invited to take part.

Scottish Ballet Youth Collective through to U.Dance platform event
We are delighted to announce that The U.Dance selection panel has confirmed that our Scottish Ballet Youth Collective (Stride Out) secured a place at the U.Dance Platform Event at Macrobert, Stirling on 25 February 2012.
YDance brings together 14 of the best youth dance companies from across Scotland to showcase the young talent this country has to offer, and a few of these groups will be chosen to take part in the landmark U.Dance 2012 event at the Southbank Centre, London, a fantastic dance event taking place from 13 to 16 July 2012. Performers will include youth dance groups from across Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and wales. For further information, visit www.u-dance.org.
