We would like to say a big congratulations to Eve Musto who has been promoted to Principal, and to Luciana Ravizzi and Constance Devernay who have both been promoted to Soloist. (Above L-R: Eve Mutso, Luciana Ravizzi and Constance Devernay).
Eve joined Scottish Ballet in 2003 and has recently performed lead roles of Blanche in A Streetcar Named Desire and the Witch in Hansel & Gretel.
You may recognise Luciana from our latest autumn season artwork, and from recent performances as Faith/Death in The Rite of Spring and as the Mother and the Witch in Hansel & Gretel. Constance has made an impressive leap from Artist to Soloist and has recently shone roles in Kenneth Macmillan's Elite Syncopations and as Gretel in Hansel & Gretel.
Congratulations all round!

Peter Darrell's The Nutcracker
Lovingly recreated for audiences, Scottish Ballet are proud to bring back Peter Darrell’s The Nutcracker, touring winter 2014/15.
Crafted for Scotland by the company’s founding Artistic Director, a famous story-teller and an incredible dance-maker, this Nutcracker is full of magical memories. And now audiences can share this dream-making production with families and friends once more, over 40 years since it first premiered.
Peter Darrell’s magical world of The Nutcracker has been reimagined by Olivier Award winning designer Lez Brotherston, adding sumptuous layers of plush Victoriana and traditional festive fare to the original 1973 production.
The Scottish Ballet Orchestra accompanies live, performing the world famous Tchaikovsky score.
