When Princess Aurora was born, her Mum and Dad, the King and Queen, had a Christening party for her. It was a very important day and lots of people came to see the baby. Six magical fairies from the Enchanted Forest came with special presents for the baby.

The presents that the fairies gave were to help Aurora grow up to be clever, graceful, well behaved and have a good singing voice.

Fairy Facts 

The fairies costumes were made in several different countries across Europe.

A team of 11 people made all the costumes.

The costume department were inspired by fashion magazines while creating the costumes.

The Palace and the Forest

Princess Aurora lives in a palace and the Christening party takes place in the beautiful gardens of the palace. The Fairies live in the Enchanted Forest.
