When Princess Aurora was born, her Mum and Dad, the King and Queen, had a Christening party for her. It was a very important day and lots of people came to see the baby. Six magical fairies from the Enchanted Forest came with special presents for the baby.

The presents that the fairies gave were to help Aurora grow up to be clever, graceful, good and have a good singing voice.

The Palace and the Enchanted Forest

Parent note: Talk with your child about the difference between the two. Together, think about what they look like, who lives there, how it feels to live there, and what the people living there would eat or drink.
