Scottish Ballet offers repertoire-based practical dance workshops tailored to suit the age and experience of the class to challenge and inspire pupils. Workshops are delivered by a dance artist and accompanied by a musician in the school.
"I think opportunities like this are memorable for a young person at school. They will remember their session with Scottish Ballet for some time.”

Talks include a brief history and background of Scottish Ballet, including the range of career opportunities with the Company. Pupils receive an insight into all aspects of production, and this experience is enhanced by extracts of the music, production photographs, set designs and costumes. The content of the talk is balanced to suit the appropriate area of the curriculum.
"The talk was a terrific insight into costume and stage design, which fully related to the S3 design unit. The speaker was enthusiastic and friendly, allowing great insight into the magnitude of the task, when undertaking a performance. Overall this was an excellent talk which I would recommend to all schools."
