A fun and social afternoon for those aged 50+ where participants are invited to watch a short performance by one of Scottish Ballet’s community groups, listen to an illustrated talk on our current ballet, take part in a beginners' dance session and relax for a chat over tea and cake.

Alice's Curious Tea Parties: Memories
To celebrate the opening of Scottish Ballet’s production of Alice, we held afternoon tea parties in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Over 140 ladies and gentlemen took part, and as photography and coming of age are the main themes in Alice, we invited participants to bring along a picture of themselves and a quote expressing the wisdom we wished we had all had as young people.
