Introduction

The Nutcracker was created for Scottish Ballet by Ashley Page in 2003. It was his first full-length ballet.

The Nutcracker tells the story of one Christmas Eve when Marie hears the story of a brave nutcracker who saves a princess from a terrible curse. As she sleeps, she intransported into a surreal dream world where she must learn to find for herself and discover the secret of true love.
